a NICE rally. AUG 15-17
So you might be thinking SHAPEZ? Aren’t those the Cleveland moped people? Why are they hosting a rally in Port Sanilac Michigan? BECAUSE WE CAN (and because Lizzy’s mom lives there is is extremely kind and has a fantastic property with an entire back acre for camping to accommodate a rally spot) SO STOP ASKING and just show up and have a good friggin time. This is a NICE rally that will be a blast. That being said the main route will require/heavily recommend bikes that can hit AT LEAST 40mph or so on average.

Show up to Port Sanilac! Address will be shared later. This will be a camping rally on grass so come prepared for that! Once cars are parked in the camp zone, no moving them until we leave Sunday so that we don't tear up the yard too bad. Get around on your moped!! NO DOGS ALLOWED sorry but Mom's Great Danes are all the dogs we need. This is in a residential area so we are going to have to be *somewhat* mindful. There is access to beautiful Lake Huron just steps across the street!!
Friday Night (no chase!!): Ride leaves from Mom's place at 8??? and ends up at Alli Bar, a local favorite and very unique outdoor venue with a secret surprise special performance you won't want to miss! There will be a food truck! (ok, yes it's hotdogs, but the fun kind with CrAaAaAaZy toppings) Eventually the ride leads back to camp, where we'll want to get some good rest because Saturday is a big day!!!!
- Shapez to provide breakfast on site. Ride will be leaving EARLY like 10am latest cuz we have some GROUND to COVER!! The first half of the ride is taking the Lakeshore Drive allllllll the way UP the THUMB (hence thumb's up) where we will have our mid-point stop in Grindstone City. The second half of the ride leads down through some Pure Michigan farm lands and back to camp. This is about a 111 mile day so prepare your butts! There will be a chase van and trailer but try not to break down?!?! The route is based on available gas stops through what is essentially the middle of nowhere but will happen every 25 miles. Once we get back to camp: There will be food! There will be party! There will be raffle bike(s???)! Yay!!!!
- Clean up and go home!! Or if you want to stay for some Sunday fun day actions, we might go play putt-putt or just go to the beach with a gatorade and stare at the water and think about our decisions. Either way, it'll be fun.

If the weather is above 40 degrees there is typically a wrench sessions held at one of the various member’s garages scattered about and around the Cleveland area, both west and east side!
